Saturday? Yes, we decided to have our popular holiday shopping kick-off sale on Saturday rather than Friday so it coincides with the annual event - Small Business Saturday.
The 2nd annual Small Business Saturday® is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on the busiest shopping weekend of the year ... and GPY is dedicated to offering a great sale to our customers. We have just added lots of yarns to the sale bins including a kettle-dyed cashmere, naturally dyed sock yarn and a few more surprises ... including books for $5 each and patterns for $1 each BEFORE reaching in the sale pot. Selection includes Sublime, Jenny Watson, Louisa Harding and more.
We are the local yarn shop that has always let you pick your sale items and you are guaranteed at least 20% off your purchase on Saturday, November 26th. However, all customers will have the opportunity to reach into the GPY Make Your Own Sale Pot after totaling the purchase to increase the discount to 40% or 60%. Help us make room for all of the glorious new yarn that continues to arrive almost daily.
GPY Make Your Own Sale day is a cousin to the GPY Make Your Own Birthday Sale. No club membership or fees, just bring your purchase up to the counter and we'll total your purchase, after which, you will be asked to reach into the GPY Make Your own Sale Pot. Everyone has the same odds and all in-stock items, including our 35% bins - are included! This Make-Your-Own-Sale event is limited to stock on hand (and as usual, we are bursting at the seams). Classes, workshops, gift cards and special orders are excluded. And, if November is your birthday month, we suggest that you do your birthday sale on a day other than November 26th since your Birthday Sale has extra perks including earning rewards for your birthday purchase and special orders.
All Make Your Own sales are final and prior purchases are not eligible for exchange to receive discount. Please note, we will not be able to wind yarn during this event, however if you leave your purchase, we will gladly call you when your yarn has been wound. Additionally, we will not be able to accept any returns or exchanges during this Make-Your-Own Sale event.
We will be open regular hours on November 26th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). And remember the parking lot directly behind the building is for GPY customers on the weekends. The two one-way bypass streets, Orchard City Drive and Civic Center Drive have parallel parking spots with a 10-hour limit as well as the two parking garages and commuter lot near the light rail tracks.
